Lee started his education career as an outdoor activity instructor for Plymouth City Council in 1995. He quickly realised that teaching children was a real passion, particularly less advantaged kids, so he retrained as a primary teacher. He believes that all children have hidden potential, and that our job as teachers is to help them let that potential out Lee completed a National Professional Qualification for Headship, after which he took on the leadership of two PRUs (pupil Referral Units), one of which was the first in the country to be given an Outstanding judgement in every area of an OfSTED inspection.
Lee Joined Courtlands in 2009, where he feels privileged to work with an amazing team of dedicated professionals. Lee is now expecting Courtlands to achieve an outstanding judgement from OfSTED, and is looking forward to the future and supporting the Trust to grow sustainably, with the focus firmly on the children.
